1. **Cut Fabric:** From PWNM005, PWNM004, and PWNM003, cut (4) squares, 4 ¾” (12.07cm). From PWNM007, cut (4) squares, 4 ¾” (12.07cm), (2) rectangles, 15” x 20 ½” (38.10cm x 52.07cm) for backing, and (3) strips, 2” x WOF (5.08cm x WOF) for piping.
2. **Prepare White Squares:** From white solid cotton, cut (1) strip, 3” x WOF (7.62 x WOF); sub-cut 12 squares, 3” (7.62cm), and (2) strips, 2” x WOF (5.08cm); sub-cut 2 strips, 17 ½” (44.45cm) and 2 strips, 20 ½” (52.07cm).
3. **Sew 4-Patch Blocks:** Lay out the 4¾” (12.07cm) squares in rows. Separate this layout into four 4-patch blocks and sew them together. Press seams in one direction!
4. **Prepare the Shamrock:** Lay the 4-patches in 2 rows of 2 blocks each. Sew the 3” (7.62cm) white squares on the corners. Trim the seams to ¼” (.64cm) and press open the triangles. Repeat for 4 blocks!
5. **Combine Blocks:** With triangle corners outward, sew the 4 blocks together, matching adjacent block and triangle seams, then sew a 2” x 17½” (5.08cm x 44.45cm) white strip to each side and press seams.
